The number of children of a woman slows down the ladder she grows older, suggests a study by Simon Fraser University in Canada.
Research showed that women who were born more children had longer telomerial telomeries . . protective parts at the end of each DNA extension, which indicate cell aging.
The study examined the number of children born of 75 women, as well as the lengths of their telomeres through saliva and body fluids on the page.
Researchers said that this may be because of increased estrogen during pregnancy, which acts as an antioxidant that protects cells against injury.
