The United States' special task force for Ukraine, Kurt Volker, has said there is a possibility that Kosovo and Serbia reach agreements on normalising relations and that such a thing will depend on the support the two countries will have.
Former US Ambassador to NATO Volker speaking of Voice of America, speaking of reports between Kosovo and Serbia, has said there is no return to the past and that the agreement is important for both countries because of stability and the path towards the European Union, Telegrafi notes.
Everything depends on what the two countries [Kosovo and Sebia] will decide. There is one rule, in accordance with agreement and other documents, that borders dare not move by force, as has happened with the Russian annexation of Crime. This cannot happen. If the two countries through negotiations reach agreement, according to the model of partitioning Slovakia from Chechya, the rest of us have to agree and respect this”, Volker said, the Metro newspaper broadcast.
