Freedom Kastrati, the football player of Zagreb's Lokomotive and the National of Kosovo, has sacrificed much to reach the current level, Periscopi reports.
He left his family at the age of 15 to follow the dream of becoming a professional football player.
Kastrati, born in the village of Hogosht of Kamenica, began his career at KF Kika, while three years has been part of Dardana, as well as another year was part of the Arsenal School in Pristina.
After a successful period at Arsenal football school, he manages to move to the Albanian championship, where he stays for two and a half years and then takes the giant step towards Zagreb Lokomotiva.
But how did things turn around so that the short term release could penetrate from Kosovo to Albania and then Croatia?
We have become very often used to hearing stories of footballers who mostly came from Latin America and who had a very difficult childhood. Most of them stayed away from families for a long time to achieve their own goals.
And the same fate was that of Freedom Kastracti, who at the age of 15 left his family with the desire and the dream of becoming a professional football player, writes Periscope.

He had previously confessed many things about his career and indicated the difficulties he had when leaving his family at age 15.
It's been very difficult since I left my family at age 15, I've lived in Albania about 2 and a half years without a family, and now I've been living in Zagreb for two years, even there without a family, but when you have a goal to achieve something, it's easier,” Kastrati said in an interview for Radio Pristina.
He had stayed in a dorm and completed his schooling there during the period he was in Albania.
How did he move from Albania to Zagreb Lokomotiva?
There was a friendly match with the light of Gjilan, and at that meeting, the release had marked the hat-tric and the video with the goals had put it in YouTube, where various offers had come from many football managers.
The 20-year-old had convinced the management of Lokomotive to sign with him only one training session.

We have a friendly match, Light Science, and then I made a video I scored 3 goals and I took that video out on YouTube and then I was contacted by a lot of managers. Then I went to Lokomotive in Zagreb where after just one day of training I signed the contract.
As for the nationals for the 20-year-old, Kosovo, Albania and Croatia had shown interest, the latter were even willing to offer citizenship when they saw the fantastic form they were passing with Zagreb Locomitva.
Kastrati also shows the moment Albania drove him away when he was packed with U-17.
I've had offers from Albania since I've been to the U-17, I've only been at the gathering for 10 days, and when the day of the match has come they've gone away, only they know why,” Kastrati added.
The Dardanian star has said he has chosen to represent the National of Kosovo without thinking twice as Kosovo is his birthplace.
I also have an offer from Croatia where my citizenship has been offered, but I have not thought twice and I have decided for Kosovo, this is my home, my father's, my mother's, and that's why I have chosen Kosovo.

“has been a dream for me to debut with Kosovo, it's a very good feeling.
For Kosovo I will always be ready, no matter whether I receive an invitation repeatedly or not, I will never despair, I will cut off the opportunity and show myself.
It also has advice for young people who dream of becoming footballers in the future.
The release takes an example of himself showing how it has managed from Hogotti to Zagreb.
Zagreb Locomotive's star has shown that by the time she was trained at the Arsenal School in Pristina she has traveled from 5 hours a day by bus just to complete training sessions.
When I can get to Hogotti to Zagreb these from Pristina are even easier.
When I was part of Arsenal every day I did 5 hours by bus from Hogosti to Pristina only by the great will I had to perform training, now young people have 5 minutes near the field and they don't want to go to practice, they have to leave themselves a goal and work for a purpose. You don't quit,” is over.
And there are great words about the release of Ardian Kosnik, who is convinced that one day all of Europe will talk about the star of Hogosti's origin.

I guarantee you that this great guy will be known the whole world,” said long ago.
The Kosovo National Striker has scored 7 goals with Zagreb's Lokomotive, until summer he has warned that he will leave Croatia to continue his career in the German Bundesliga. It is packed with Kosovo for the two March matches the Dardans will play against Denmark and Bulgaria in Fadil Vokri. /PERISCOP/
