Long ago, the way the ball of toilet paper should stand has caused debate and confusion. Many feel that the side of the attraction should be decided, others believe otherwise.
But the dilemma seems to be over. CHOICE magazine discovered a 128-year-old driver's license, dating back to September 15, 1891. It included a detailed graph showing that the letter should hang upward.
According to MailOnline, the magazine wrote: “here at CHOICE we are not afraid to find out the truth about one of the most complex consumer concerns... so we were able to find the ultimate answer to how toilet paper should be hung. We're here to tell you that upstairs is the right way to hang the letter“.
