Spectacular amounts detected winning clubs in European Superliga

“El Partidazo”, display of “Cadena Cope”, has discovered the numbers of the Superleague, the latest idea of the European Club Association (ECA) and UEFA. Each club would receive a fixed quota of 900m euros for participation in this competition. This amount will then be added additional rewards based on the results and division of [...]
More rewards will then be added on the basis of results and sharing of income from television rights. Europe's Superleague is a new and very ambitious economic format, ready to change fan habits.
In fact, if this project becomes reality, championship matches will be played on Wednesdays, and Superleague's at the weekend. However, not all are convinced that this idea is feasible.
According to Mediapro President Yaume Roures, world-renowned expert on the TV rights market, such spending would be unaffordable: “It is impossible to pay 900m euros for each team because there is not enough money”, he said.
I find this to be absurd. It would only be possible if all national championships were interrupted and all resources went to the Superleague. I still don't see it possible.”
The European Champions' Association (EPFL) has broken relations with UEFA President Alexander Ceferin because they think that “Cefer has been humiliated before Andrea Agnelli (the president of ECA, the European Clubs' Association), fearing the idea that Europe's big clubs would organise a Champuty of their own”.
“Der Spiegel” has discovered the basic idea of the Superleague based on documents published by “Fotball Legs”. Clubs standing behind this project are sixteen, divided into founding clubs (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United), Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, PSG, Juventus and Milan) and guest clubs (Atletico, Borussia Dortmund, Marseille, Inter and Rome).
The superleague would have two phases: the first with groups, the second with direct elimination. A second category can be created. The project has progressed and is now seeking a powerful partner from America, which is the Relevent Sport, the company that has negotiated with Javier Tevas, the president of La League, the organisation of Girona-Barca in Miami.
The presence of the major clubs of the International Champions Club (ICC) has enabled Charles Stilitano, adviser to the Survey Sports, to conduct a survey with clubs. ECA sees 2024 as the deadline for launching the Superleague, and on Tuesday it has organised a meeting in Amsterdam to give another boost to its plan: an ambitious project that, if realised, would revolutionise football.
