Researchers examined women's sleep during their two cycles.
Women kept acteria sensors in their hands to record the patterns of activity and the rest over 578 sleep episodes, and they offered in the morning urine samples for measuring the concentrations of the Lutheran hormone, estrone-3-glucronide (E1G) and pregnanedial 3- glucose (PDG).

The lengths of the menstrual cycle were standardised in the 14-day foliocular and 14-day Lutheran stages, focusing on the day of alone.
According to the National Sleep Foundation, 25 percent in 33 percent of menstrual women have reported more sleep interrupted during the first weeks and / or during menstruation.
This study waves these perceptions using objective measures, and further records the negative effects of the menstrual cycle on girls.
