Otherwise, Burdushi for four weeks remained in custody. During this time his attorney even confirmed that he had tried to deprive himself of life.
The one known in public as Burdushi was suspected of committing four criminal acts:
Illegal exercise of medical or pharmaceutical activity, tax evasion, fraud, and criminal possession, control, or unauthorized possession of weapons.
That the move has changed for Burdush has confirmed to Gazeta Express days ago, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, Petrit Kryeziu.
Kryeziu has declared that due to the passage of legal deadlines for continuing this move, the detention measure has been replaced with the measure of presentation at the police station.
“There are still legal conditions for continuing detention, the maximum sentence for criminal acts suspected of is five years, and due to the passage of legal deadlines for continuing this move over four months, the prosecutor has considered that in concrete cases all legal conditions have been met for replacing the measure of detention with the extent of presentation at the” police station, he has declared.
Burdushi was arrested in November last year after Kosovo Police under the leadership of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren had raided the home of “Burdush” under the excuse for tax evasion and fraud.
