A porn star for mayor

Each person has the right to change his life, leaving the past behind. One such case is for Elena Berkova. The 34-year-old will run for mayor of her town in Russia, leaving behind work as a porn star.

Something incredible, but true. The adult film actress has announced she is planning to participate in elections in the town in the Murmansk region of northern Russia.

With a picture in the Instagram, Elena has asked her followers to tell her what problems they are facing. What's your problem in town? How are things in nursing, school, home or hospitals? I want to know everything about Murmansky! I'm with you” she writes on social networks.

In an interview for the local radio, 34-year-old even promised that with her political programme, each person would find solutions to their problems, of course all if it gets their votes.

Many people have been skeptical, but this is not the first time Berkova is running for mayor. In 2009, she announced that she would race for mayor in the town of Sochi and even released a video campaign, but never registered as a candidate.
