Kosovo customs in the early hours of the morning has launched a major action under efforts to combat organised crime and smuggling.
This customs action has been conducted in co-operation with the Kosovo Police. The operation has been extended to the region of Pristina, Prizren, Mitrovica, Gjakova and Ferizaj.
Following an investigation under the authorisation of Prizren's Constitutional Prosecutor, Kosovo Customs in co-operation with police has undertaken a control operation based on the Prizren Court's ordinance in 32 different locations in the country.
Under the operation, five suspicious persons will be prosecuted for detention under the order of the Prosecutor, while the operation has resulted in finding wealth benefits and considerable evidence as follows.
- A tobacco filter about 2 million pieces
- Firearms without permission: 5 pieces
- Crushed Tobacco About 1,500kg
- A 237-share tobacco filling machine
- Smoke car 2 pieces
- 500 pieces of tobacco wrapper
- Cartonads for 1200 packages
- 2 Tools
