Lekaj, at any moment, has asked for the Swiss ambassador's departure to Kosovo, much less to oppose a friendly state for Kosovo. In his statement, Lekaj has stressed that an explanation letter would be needed on charges that veterans in Kosovo are false, for which the institutions of justice have not yet issued a ruling.
Among other things, Lekaj has reiterated his thanks and the state of Kosovo for the continued assistance of Switzerland. Swiss Ambassador Lebet has stressed that he highly appreciates the sacrifice of veterans of the Republic of Kosovo in the struggle for freedom and that any remarks Switzerland sends, the state of Kosovo must accept as a remark by a very friendly state of Kosovars. He expressed regret over all misunderstandings that have occurred since the day of his announcement of veterans and stressed that Kosovo-Switzer friendship is powerful, while he personally has particular admiration for Kosovo.
