The patriarch said he expects Russia, as in difficult times, to help Serbia preserve Kosovo.
The “Russians are a great and powerful nation, we are a small country, but fortunately we are always a boat bound to a large Russian ship”.
He made these statements during the signing of an agreement with Gazprom Neft company, which will continue to make donations to help work at the Temple of St. Sava, writes B92.
Patriarch Irinej noted that Serbia today is in a rather difficult “position”, but that is Russia which has had consensus for the Serbian people throughout history.
