Life sentence for murder of wife and daughter in Brecoc, Gjakova

The Court of Appeals through a media communique has announced that by deciding according to complaints, it has changed the Act of Basic Court in Gjakova on 19.11.2018.

“P.N. Charge actions. are named as “grave murder by Article 179, paragraph 1, sub-paragraph 1.11, the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, and it has been pronounced a sentence on it at the timeless time. The Court of Appeals estimates that the court of the first degree has not correctly assessed the serious and particularly serious circumstances, and that these circumstances predominate more”, the Court of Appeals reports.

The appeal has further stressed that the admission of guilt, said further in the indictment, and the proclamation of the unique sentence of 24 years in prison, has not been attributed to the burden of criminal acts and the degree of criminal responsibility of the accused. This is because the lives of his V.N. and his daughter, K.N., have caused serious consequences that could have caused even more serious consequences.

The Court of Appeals estimates that because extremely serious consequences have been caused as the defender of a serious crime murder, which is human life as the greatest value of legal criminal protection, and criminal acts have been committed under specific order circumstances, thus met two legal conditions by KPRK's Article 44 for the proclamation of a life sentence.
