Lawyer Halilaj says after the arrest he was not given food and water for 22 hours

“He (Avokat) confirmed that he was arrested by four Kosovo Police Inspectorate officials, of whom he claimed he is not in the competence of the IPK and that his arrest has made him the same persons for whom the previous day had made penal adulation”, it is said in the KMDLNj statement.
Halilaj has told KMDLNY monitors that during his arrest the order for arrest was not presented, while an IPK official threatened him during the interview that he would be sentenced to prison.
The lawyer has also confirmed to the monitors that during his stay in the ban for about 22 hours, he had not received any food or water.
KMDLNj has asked for clarification from the Vice Director of the Banning, and she has confirmed that the distribution of dinner in this center takes place at 6 o'clock, while the detainee arrived at 6:30. She was quoted as saying that the Banning Centre cannot afford to provide food for the deprived who come after this hour.
When the next day, on 28.02,2019, the staff confirmed to KMDLNj that Mr. Halilaj's got breakfast and lunch. The lawyer, aged 27,02,2019, has also been visited by emergency health staff and treated with indefinite drugs by the doctor”, the statement follows.
Lawyer Halilaj has had no remarks on the conduct of the uniformed staff, no police officers who have transported him or those of the Ban Centre.
He's been taken for investigation by four mobile phones for which he signed his form and interviewed in the presence of the lawyer he personally committed.
