Kosovo in Venice Bienalen promises dignified representation

The Ministry of Culture in co-operation with the National Gallery of Kosovo today organised the first official conference for Kosovo's participation in the 58th International Art Exhibition in the Venice Bienalen.
Attending this conference was Culture Minister Kujtim Gashi, representative artist Alban Muja, ward curator Vincent Honor and ward commissioner Arta Agani.
Minister Gashi voiced support for the team's extraordinary work working for Kosovo's presentation in Bienalen in Venice, saying he is happy that our country is participating in one of the most important cultural events in the world.
Also, the head of the Ministry of Culture said that artists are well promoting Kosovo around the world, which, according to him, are doing the work of several other sectors.
Speaking to Kosovo's representative artist, Gashi said Muja is an artist testified to his projects and that he does not suspect his work, but also the entire team standing behind him.
While the Kosovo ward's curator, Vincent Honor, said the Kosovo ward would be one of the best in the Venice Bienenalen. He said they worked with artist Muja to develop a concept that will address interesting things.
The artist who will represent Kosovo, Alban Muja, said his commitment to going to Bienalen in Venice has made him proud, but has also given him responsibility for the most dignified presentation of our country.
The muja will be introduced to this event with the “Family Albumi” project where the human side of the events of 1998 and 1999. According to him, what is likely before 20 years should be shared with a larger audience such as the Venice Bienenales.
The Venice Bienale, which will be held from May 9th to November 24th, will open the doors for Kosovo for the fourth time, while it exists as a very important cultural institution at the global level of 120 years and has over half a million visitors annually.
This year's Bienales of Venice theme is “May you live in interest times” or in Albanian “Live in interesting times” that is an ancient Chinese curse to live in a time of uncertainty, crisis, and not stability, which, according to them, is closely related to modern times.
