KEDS complete projects providing 40,000 Kamenica families, businesses

KED has completed two major projects in the municipality of Kamenica. It's about building Rangan's deportors and Hogosht's deporter, belonging to the Kamenica municipality.

With these two projects completed by KED, 12 villages on this side will have quality energy and stable tension.

This investment will benefit 1800 families and businesses from Rogan's escort and about 2,000 families and businesses from Hogosht's remote. So the direct beneficiary is about 40,000 consumers or about 20,000 people on that side.

They will now have a better life and businesses will have easier jobs, from the new and modern network implemented by KEDS.

These investments have been seen closely by Director General KEDS, Mr. Alper Erbas, along with the deputy head of the Kamenica municipality, Mr. Faton Jakupi.

<x) Thanks to the real cooperation we've had, the projects in this substantiation have been accomplished over time. The Rangan and Hogosht project could be named the largest projects in 2018 because they benefited a large number of consumers”, Mr. Erbas.

While the deputy chairman of Kamenica municipality, Mr. Jakupi, during the field visit, expressed satisfaction with the work of KED.

A good job has been done by KED for the Kamenica municipality. There are these two projects, and then the project in Korea, the work in the city center, and other projects. The KEDS staff is quite co-operative to our demands”, said Deputy Chairman Jakupi.

In these two projects, four new distribution stabilisations from KEDS are being established, and two new 10kV exits by NS Berivojca have been built, now called the Hogosht exit and Rogan's exit. Also located are two new trafostacts with the capacity of 160 kVA in the village of Grizzim and Kershaneti.

Adapting to the ground in the Rangan project has extended the new 5km airline, while underground around 5.5km.

Residents too speak of the good in this investment

During implementation of the ECDS Hogosht project, it has installed approximately 8.5km of air network and 3.6km of underground networks and 3.3km of biscal cable networks and concrete pillars.

This has made even residents of this region feel these changes.

Before, there were times when there was no electricity, and now we are satisfied. But we're also regular electricity taxpayers. What we pay for, we don't owe the state,” said Radunka Arsic, resident of that side.
