Journalist from Brussels: EU will not expand, Kosovo will change agenda

Brussels-renowned journalist Augustin Palocaj has made a column titled “The European future is far away from the frontal”.

Palockaj says European Union member states are no longer supporting the enlargement process. 70 percent say they're against, while 30 percent are pro. Among the countries that are most persistent against France and the Netherlands, while leading Spain and Ireland, writes Periscope.

The enlargement process has also become too slow and now they want to slow it down even further. Although this has been the most successful process in the history of the EU, through which it has expanded from 6 founding countries to 28 present-day, or 27 of what it will have in a month, this process is already a bit desired, especially in the old and post-member states. They are citizens, and politicians cannot act against their will. ”- writes Palocaj.
