University of Tokyo scientists have developed a particular color that can block wireless signals.

Mixing iron oxid particles in color, researchers have invented color that blocks radio frequency in higher spectrums where Wi-Fi and other higher broadband communications occur.

Although most Wi-Fi technologies work at 2. 4 GHz and 5GHz, special color can block frequencies to 100GHz, researchers said.

A 200GHz block color is on the way.

Here's how it works: metal particles inside color reson at the same frequency as Wi-Fi and other radio waves, so the signals can't go through the thin layer of pigment.

In this way, a secure wall is created that prevents signals from entering the house and from specially dressed walls.

The use of such an innovative product is already present. The theatres have been interested for a time to find a legal way to block phones during the shows. /Telegraphy/
