Today 20 years ago, after all diplomatic opportunities to stop the war in Kosovo were exhausted, NATO decided to end the vicious campaign of ethnic cleansing that Serbia was conducting against our people. NATO's intervention opened a new chapter in our country's history -- that of peace, security and stability. KFOR's presence in Kosovo is a guarantor of the strong support of the North-Atlantic Alliance.
As we continue our journey towards integration into Euro-Atlantic structures, we are committed to sticking to the values upon which NATO's intervention in Kosovo- freedom, democracy and human rights was based.
Forever grateful! / P ERISCOPI/
