Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has called on the European Union and the United States of America to help finally reach an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia for mutual recognition.
These comments Haradinaj has made at the beginning of the works on the “road of the Three Heroes, Zahir Pajaziti, Hakif Zamenoullah and Edmond Hoxha”, Pristina Mitrovica, the Great River segment é Gojbula.
In this case, Haradinaj has said that this road is an artery that connects the country's economy with neighbouring economies, even with Serbia. The Government head said that Kosovo's interest is to live in a Balkans where everyone is free and where everyone knows each other at its borders.
Until this day comes, Haradinaj said the jobs in their responsibility would end, saying they would build roads and bridges.
The “is an artery that can connect our country's economy with neighbouring economies, that's Serbia's economies. Our interest is to live in a Balkans where everyone is free, everyone is respected, everyone knows each other on its own borders, with their rights and at the same time a free trade and a trade exchange. It is understandable that we who are in our responsibilities reach this day will do so, so we will build roads and build bridges and build bridges because it is our duty. But we also call on our partners, the European Union, the United States to help us with what is not in our capacity, so that we can finally reach an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia for mutual recognition, so that all of our infrastructure, are these our auto-roads, are our railways, is that our energy transmission that we have blocked over a decade, so Kosovo and the other market in this case Albania. So all these obstacles will be removed so that economic exchanges and other exchanges can occur freely”, the prime minister said.
Infrastructure Minister Paul Lekaj said that as Government, they are committed to building roads with European standards and that in every country of Kosovo they support citizens' demands.
There is nothing happier when the Government of Kosovo invests in the economic development factor, the free movement of citizens, the transport of goods and all these positive effects on the country's development. There is no greater satisfaction when we are building roads, bridges that connect cities and connect corridors. We as the Government of Kosovo are committed not only to building roads, these same roads to be built with European standards, and to connect these corridors to European pandores, and we are dedicated to every corner, in every space of the Republic of Kosovo to be there to support citizens' demands. Today we are starting this segment that has enormous significance linking the entire space called Kosovo”, said Minister Lekaj.
A joyful day for the start of the works has been called the chairman of the Vushtrri municipality, Xhafer Tahiri, who has said that Vushtrria is finally joining the highway with Pristina.
The oldest “city in Kosovo is finally joining the highway with the centre in Pristina, and this is one of the biggest achievements that will be for the economic development of the town of Vushtrri and for the economic development of the citizens of Vushtrria. The establishment and its citizens are known as hardworking people, people who love work, and for a long time have had and have difficulty driving this important road axis. True we are close to Pristina, but for a very long time it has been postponed has been projected to continue the project of continuing”, he said.
Tahiri has had a request, that this road be completed in the previous legal deadline and that there be no delays. He said any delay would be harmful to citizens and economic development.
Construction of this road is continuing after four years of interruption after some of the difficulties that had been presented.
