Happy Day is celebrated today

The world really needs a smiling day, and the United Nations declared March 20 as the International Day of Happiness.

Joy Day was introduced by the United Nations General Assembly during 2012, and was celebrated for the first time in 2013.

The original idea came from the Kingdom of Butan in the Himalayan region of Asia. There, it is believed, that the happiest people in the world live because of their approach to life.

For all of us, this day serves to remind us that happiness does not necessarily come from buying and consuming, either from being famous or charming, but often from friends and family.

Worldwide, this day is celebrated with various and unique activities.
