The head of the Greek government implied that if these negative developments are true, then Greece will block Albania's negotiation process for membership in the European Union.
We're seeing developments that we don't like. Today I learned that there was a negative development in connection with the Greek minority. If it's true, it'll be a very negative development. An issue that unfortunately does not give us optimism towards the European perspective. If the information we have is valid, there are no preconditions to walk in this direction. I hope I'm wrong. Because the desire of all is for the Balkan countries' steps towards the European perspective to become reality. But in every country we look at it separately”, said Alexis Tsipras, reports TvKlan.
According to Greek media, the prime minister referred to an information he had received that the Albanian government has confiscated property of the Greek minority in Himara through a decision published in the Official Library.
