At today's meeting, the government cabinet has approved the completion of changing the decision to establish the Memorial Centre for genocide over Albanians “Blaca1999”. With the current change of decision completed, 100 thousand euros are earmarked for the implementation of this” project, the Government communiqué says.
Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has asked all government and institutional reservators to fulfil obligations and commitments in favour of categories stemming from the KLA war.
The Kosovo government, at this meeting, has allocated 400,000 euros to meet the Kosovo Government's annual contribution to the Regional Co-operation Council in Sarajevo.
Kosovo's “Republic is part of a group of 4 per cent of the total amount of Southeast European countries formally defined at the Bucharest summit in November 2006”, the Government of Kosovo announced.
With the decision that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has adopted today, the Finance Minister has been authorised to approve transfers from under the programme “Unforeseen spending” on individual sums to the amount of 400,000 euros for 2019 budgetary divisions.
The initiative to connect the “Agreement on the lucrative work of family members of a diplomatic or consular mission” with the Republic of France has received principled approval in today's meeting. Also, the initiative to sign the agreement between the Government of Kosovo and Thailand's Kingdom for mutual protection of investments has received principled support from the government cabinet.
At today's meeting, the Government has approved in principle the initiative for membership as an associate “member at the International Weight and Measures Office.
The approval in principle has also received the international agreement on avoiding double taxes and preventing tax evasion in revenues and capital, between the Government of Kosovo and Portugal.
The government cabinet has been informed at today's meeting with the implementation of the SAA National Implementation Programme during 2018. “Program is legally binding for all institutions in the Republic of Kosovo under their competencies”, the Government says in the statement.
The European Integrity Ministry monitors implementation of the Programme and collects regular reports that serve to assess and improve implementation of the programme. According to these reports, the reporting year Programme's activities have been implemented at the 68,33 percent level, while 31,77 percent of activities have not been implemented.
The prime minister has presented the idea for organising a meeting of the prime ministers of the countries of the region to discuss the process of integrating the countries of the region into the European Union, and in which representatives from the European Commission” would be invited, the government's announcement stressed.
The prime minister has also requested information on implementation of the Procurement Law by the Ministry of Finance, the involvement of minority communities in the Kosovo Police, as well as demands of war-free associations.
Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj has called for the commitment of the special ministries in the process of realising agreements reached by the joint meetings of the Government of Kosovo and the Council of Ministers of Albania.
