Researchers Paul Frankland and Blake Richards from the University of Toronto have discovered that old memories in the brain are <x0 overloaded” from new memories. It's even harder for us to remember our old impressions, or forget them completely.
According to research, only because a person has a better memory does not necessarily mean that he is very intelligent. In fact, the study revealed that the opposite seems to be correct. There are people who memorize all the details on their head, which is useful, but it's even more useful and healthy to remember a larger scale of everything and forget the small details.
