We are not in a dramatic situation as proven to be described. We've had a tremendous success recently. I'm talking about the Army, the Law on the Salaries, I'm talking about a lot of success. There's no need for a depressing situation. We may have disagreements with the U.S. as far as the tax is concerned, but I don't think that would affect breaking up reports with the United States because it's a small thing. Reports will not be broken for a moment of disagreement, the tax has been imposed on Serbia and no one else. In addition to the United States, we also have incompatibility for the first time for certain statements that are not only related to the tax but also to borders. This does not mean that we are in the phase of breaking up reports with allies”, Kadaj-Bujupi told Kosovo Clan.
“E have consumed the tax debate, and all agreed, over 80 percent of citizens. It is the first mutual action after two decades in relation to Serbia. It is the first step and then we must have full reciprocity and then be equal to Serbia. We have repeatedly let go, while Serbia has consistently been failing to implement agreements against Kosovo. The tax has been Kosovo's political benefit, since for the first time we haven't shown inferior. This is our right, since Serbia has benefited from our market and used the money to lobby against us. The tax is the most European and western thing each state would do in relation to such a neighbor. The tax will not be lifted and we will continue to keep it”, she added.
Kaday-Bujupi said the LDK would contribute whether to participate in the dialogue process and has invited them in the days ahead to make a decision on participation.
“The LDK would contribute much if it becomes part of the dialogue. It is a process that is constantly supported by the LDK, it is not a new moment that we have not had unity in front of Serbia. If this is the final phase, there is no luxury that someone seeing close party interests will not have the political will not to participate in this process. It's good to have delegations and platforms. We have a host of subjects who sent their representatives but the LDK and the VV are missing, we'd be stronger if we were together. I call you to make the right decision and to be part of the” dialogue, she said.
