In an effort to provoke Muslims during the prayer before the Danish parliament, a group of members from the far right carried Israel's flags and disturbed Muslims with loudspeakers during the prayer. Otherwise, Muslims had made this arrangement after receiving permission from authorities to protest last week's terrorist attack in New Zealand.
Rasmussen Paludan, chairman of the party Stram Kurs, which has anti-imigrating and anti-Islamic views, tried to provoke Muslims by burning a copy of Kur '%an.
Danish police undertook intensive security measures and detained six people.
Last Friday, at least 50 Muslims were killed and were equally injured when a terrorist entered the Al Noor and Linwood Mosques of the city of Christchurch of New Zealand and quietly killed believers present, including four children.
