Of these, only about 400 of the cases have reached this commission, KTV reports.
The commission's slow work, where the victims of sexual violence, from the moment of application should wait up to a year to recognise or refuse status, is being described as neglecting the work of this commission.
Feride Rushiti, director of the KRCT, says he has accepted complaints from many victims who, according to her, have expressed great disappointment over their application.
She adds there is danger that other victims will give up the application.

Minire Begaj, who heads the commission, says they have great responsibility in handling cases and because of sensitivity they are forced to be very careful.
242 survivors of sexual violence have won victim status and enjoy retirement of 230 euros a month, among them seven men.
130 people, the commission has refused the pension rights for the first time, until 27 others have been eventually denied, but have the right to complaint through civil indictment.
