The two coalition partners at an emergency meeting, Agim Bahtiri for Periscope: We let anyone mess with America

The tax issue and the damage to reports with the United States has brought together tonight at a joint meeting two ruling coalition partners, AKR PDK.

AKR's deputy chairman, Agim Bahtiri, in a statement to Periscope, has indicated that he has already concluded his meeting with Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselin, with whom they have seriously discussed the further steps he will undertake as coalition partners regarding the current political situation in the country.

Bahtiri has told Periscope that at the meeting with Wessel, they unanimously stressed that in no way would allow the damage to reports with the United States of America for any price.

He has said that they will not allow anyone who speaks on behalf of Kosovo to damage reports with Kosovo's best and most loyal friend .

“We have discussed the ruling political situation, and I've made the most of it that Kosovo's reports with the US in no way dare be harmed, the cause of the tax. That was the main topic that I wanted to discuss with my partner. We have discussed further steps to deal with this matter. Let's see how the prime minister's procedures and engagement are reacting further, so we can see what can happen. We are determined that Kosovo's reports with America do not dare be harmed because the best and greatest friend Albanians have America. We're extremely worried about a total commitment to making a common decision on these issues. We will see how the procedures will be conducted, but we will not allow anyone who speaks on behalf of Kosovo to damage reports with the US”, Bahtiri said of Periscope.

But despite the insistence, Bahtiri has not shown what he and Wessel will undertake as coalition partners.

On the other hand, he has indicated that during his meeting with Veselin, he has also discussed the issue of petition proceedings for the union of Mitrovica.

He has said they agreed with Wessel that as soon as they set up the session for him.

“Vessel told me they are following the procedures, see how it goes away. Of course, Wessel's been giving his petition support since long ago, said Bahtiri.

The petition for the union of Mitrovica, Bahtiri, had handed it over to Wessel on January 16th, and he had promised he would reconsider the issue.

Weeks earlier, in a television debate, Wessel had declared Mitrovica to be one, like God, and that he would not allow anyone to harm him until he had sought the discretion of political actions when it comes to that part.

Meanwhile, the petition for the union of Mitrovica with over 16 thousand signatures was submitted for the first time on January 16th to the Republic of Kosovo Assembly, but this petition, which was then handed over from the Parliament in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and from there to the Ministry of Management and Power Local (MAPL), did not receive adequate support. Later the mayor of this municipality, Agim Bahtiri last week handed over this petition to the country's president, Hashim Thaci.

Bahtiri had repeatedly repeated his position that the union of Mitrovica is the will of the citizens and that it will not allow the north of this municipality to be guided by Serb parallel structures. / P ERISCOPIA
