First of all, we don't blame you if you're confused from the title and so far you think they're the same thing! And the initial and botox are both injected into your skin using a needle (from a dermatologist or a certified cosmetic surgeon) but they have a difference:

Let's start with Botox, which is used to relax the facial muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. Besides the substance that injects botox has other names like Dysport and Xemo, which do the same but the most familiar thing is Botox because it's used more.
Filler: The name itself gives you an indicator of what it does, in this case, the lines and areas where flexibility has escaped. There are various types of fillers, such as hyaluronic acid and calcium fillings (such as Radiesse). Your dermatologist will help determine the type to be used depending on the area you are filling and the depth of wrinkles created in that area.

There's a rule you should know: If the wrinkles and lines on your face appear only when you make certain mimics then the botox is used if they're visible and when the face is quiet and relaxed then you have to ask the doctor which chemicals you need to use.
