In a statement issued to Periskopi, LDK MP Anton Quinn has commented on the party's deputy leader, Lutfi Haziri,'s candidacy for the party's first post.
I can only wish him success”
He has also been asked who his favourite candidate -- who, according to him -- deserves to be the winner of the race for the first party.
But he has hesitated to name names.
“Normal each has his own opinion. There's an opinion, there's opinions, there's estimates and attitudes”, it's a brief answer to the Periscope question.
On the other hand, he has also commented on claims that this election process will cause twist in the party.
I don't believe there will be irregularities or divisions in the party during the elections. We have the rules, we have the party statute, we have experience on this topic and there is no reason after the discontent or consequential”, Quinn said of Periscope.
Interior elections in the LDK have started on 15 March and are expected to end with the party chairman's election.
So far, only party deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri has publicly admitted he claims to enter the race for the first LDK.
Haziri has even proposed that a joint agreement be reached in the party for all to agree with the candidate who wins the elections in order to preserve unity.
Unofficially, even MP Vjosa Osmani's name has been mentioned as being held in this race, but it has not been declared on the issue. / P ERISCOPIA
