Residents who are Albanians in this village say they feel discriminated against because, according to them, municipal leaders are directing investments only in Serb-inhabited villages, KTV reports.
Residents warn that unless their demands are taken into account, they are obliged to abandon the village.
People in Brod Village face similar problems. There, street asphalt is left in half.
While in villages inhabited with the Albanian minority community in this municipality, basic conditions for living are lacking, in those inhabited by Serbs, there have been years since street lighting has been done.
In some of them, it has even been invested several times in existing projects.
This data also figures in the mayor's annual report for 2018, in which it mentions the displacement of public lighting and the resalvation of several existing roads.
For these, residents of the Serb community have not wanted to speak to the camera, only have they said they are satisfied with municipal investments in their settlements.
But that is what the opposition in Shtrpce calls discrimination.
Asmobist from the Initiative, Rifat Rrustemi, says investments in this municipality are being done on ethnic grounds.
While deputy leader for communities Fikri Hasani has said that these complaints are groundless because, according to him, this year, investments in three Albanian villages for street asphalt, one of them is Izhanca.
This municipality's total budget for this year is 3m euros.
