Albania to participate in NATO-Georgia maneuvers

Manufacturers called “NATO-GEO EXIS 19” will be held at the joint centre between NATO and Georgia for training and evaluation, as well as at the National Centre for Treatment “Krtsanis”, the ATSH reports.
The maneuvers will take place from 18 March to 29 March and will be the first joint between NATO and Georgia at the level of multinational brigades and with computer assistance.
The first NATO-Georgia maneuvers were made in 2016 between NATO members and partner countries.
“NATO-GEO EXIT 19 is an important training for Georgia and a very important historic moment in strengthening military and political co-operation between NATO and Georgia”, the ministry's statement said.
A total of 24 NATO member states and partner countries will participate in training, including Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Turkey, the US, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Sweden.
Humanitarian troops like the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Department for Peacekeeping Operations with the UN and the World Health Organisation will also be present in these maneuvers, providing direct support and supervision for training participants.
