Alarm for attacks in Germany, police conduct evacuations in several municipalities

Various municipalities in Germany have been evacuated after threats, in several cases of bomb alarms taken by e-mail during Tuesday. “The investigators are handling this issue. We have identified similar threats and other municipalities, except Augsburg. A possible link between them is being investigated”, said Michael Jacob, the police spokesman.
“Contents e-mail created a serious situation, so appropriate measures were taken”, said Kurt Grybil, mayor of Augsburg.
Other cities that took the same threat were: Rendsburg, Goettingen, Chemnitz, Kaiserslawn and Neunkricen. Meanwhile, municipalities re-opened after nothing suspicious was found in police checks.
