AKI murder occurred for jealous motives, witnesses speak, and prosecutors

T7 has secured the indictment in the case, and according to prosecutor Ilaz Beqiri, allegations are that the murder had occurred for jealous motives, the Express newspaper reports.

In the building where he worked as a chef at the Kosovar Intelligence Agency on the day of September 4th, Isa Sejdiu had started his job just like any other day.

On that same day, however, the same one had been held back from carrying out his duties by a fellow worker.

All this because the chef, the day before the case, had told his colleagues that he would soon be appointed to the position of the AKI deputy director.

All this statement had prevented many top suspects in Sejdiu's murder, Valon Iberdemaj.

Iberdema, who in AKI worked as a security worker, had taken the gun with him that day and headed for the Agency's building.

Upon entering it, he had been killed by his colleague, Isa Sejdiu with two bullets, and the prosecution has already filed charges against him.

According to one of the witnesses, before he was killed, Iberdemaj had entered the buffet and called the chef's name and then shot him.

AKI's worker, has indicated to the prosecution her version of the case, saying that once he grabbed him by hand, he thought he was saving him from something that might have happened inside the institution.

On the other hand, as he continued on his way to the main gate, Valon Iberdemaj had threatened the assurance that I would kill his hostage worker in case he were stumbled.

After she was out of the car with the girl who had taken her hostage, Iberdemay had tried to get out of the AKI facility.

But that's where it was stopped from security while one of them told him that “wants me to kill someone, give me”. After that, accused Valon Iberdemaj, this security member had handed him the gun. Now in addition to the heavy murder of Valon Iberdemaj, he is also accused of kidnapping and possession without permission.

Prosecutor Ilaz Beqiri, who is handling the case, has stated that, according to him, the whole case has occurred for jealous motives.
