Zaev after meeting with Ahmeti: We'll find a common candidate for president

Northern Macedonia Prime Minister, at the same time Social Democratic League chairman Zoran Zaev, said he will continue talks with coalition partners on finding a common candidate for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

I believe this is possible. If we do that, we once again confirm the idea of a society for all and send a clear message to the citizens that we stand behind the person we agree in advance that he would be a great president of Northern Macedonia” Zaev said after meeting with Democratic Union of Integration chairman Ali Ahmeti.

Zaev said he plans further meetings with Albanian parties that are part of the coalition.

Presidential elections in northern Macedonia are held on April 21st.
