You have been there for us whenever the need has been presented, you have never been saved, you have not saved funds, you have not saved life's hard work. It was you, when we didn't have a voice, with congressmen. It was you, those before the United Nations who protested and told what we wanted, and how the people of Kosovo are suffering. Although we in Kosovo have tried to shut us down, to shut us down, to be annihilated, you have not left us for a moment. Therefore, we each time express our unbounded thanks and respect for each of you, in whatever way you have been able to support us, where you have spared nothing”, Sahati said.

She once thanked the United States, which was close to the people of Kosovo at the most difficult time, and she stressed that the people of Kosovo always have respect for America.

Addressing the Albanian-American community, she said that “you are the ones who have created the history of Kosovo, you are the ones with whom Kosovo today would not be where it is. It's you who have your family killed. You are the ones who have probably been expelled from your homes outside the borders of Kosovo, where the Serbian regime has tried to clear Kosovo of Albanians”.
