Three board members, who belong to two ruling political parties, have been appointed to Gjakova's University Steering Council “Fehmi Agani”.
On 11 February of this year, Minister of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT), Shyqit Bytyqi, has appointed to this public institution Mazlom Cumnova, Ismet Bardhoshin and Adrian Mazrek. The first two are part of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo with leader Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, while Mazreku comes from the municipality, where the leader of the Social Democrat Initiative, Fatmir Limaj, comes from and belongs to the same party. These appointments are only the continuation of the practice that Minister Bytyqi has attended with other Kosovo university institutions.
For appointed Adrian Mazrek, sources of the Time Ditore have said he is a member of the Malisheva Initiative branch, though he has denied it. The same person, in 2014, the electoral panel for complaints and parachute (PZAP) had banned voter participation for five years as the Initiative's candidate, any other party or as an administrative part of any election body. This was after the PDK had filed complaints that he and a group of militants had offered bribes to citizens for vote purchases. On this issue, the Initiative was sentenced to 3 thousand euros in fines. However, a year later, in the absence of evidence, the Constitutional Court in Gjakova had cleared Mazrek from prosecution for criminal work “censim of free voter definition”
