Despite the agreement reached between the Government of Kosovo and the United Education Union for the break-up of the strike, some teachers are not happy with the establishment of the cofficiency.
They say they're interrupting the strike just so the kids don't lose more lessons, because, according to them, they've asked for 30% pay raise, KTV reports.
Faithful Mucholi from the school union “Xhemail Mustafa” in the capital, says they have demanded that all teachers of all levels have the same salary, as they have equal schooling.
The suspension of the 3-week strike came after agreement with Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
