Nick Blackwell has discovered that a piece of his head skull has been taken out of the country and dipped in his belly after he escaped death twice.
The boxer was in a coma for seven days after the disappointing defeat against Chris Eubank Junior in March 2016.
He fell into the ring and was bleeding in the brain. This knockout caused him to end his career as a boxer, temporarily. Just ten months later, he returned to his career again. Once again, he was very near to death, being nominated by boxer Hasan Karkad.
Doctors believed that Blackwell would not survive and that the boxer himself claimed that he had died in the ambulance, but then he had returned to life.
I died in an ambulance after the encounter. They gave me life. The second time, they cut a part of my skull off to get rid of a part of the swelling in my brain. They put that part of my skull in my stomach to keep it long and then they turned it to my head. It was crazy!
I was told I had 75 percent chance of dying. If I survived, I had 85 percent of the chance to remain paralyzed on my left. You know what? I'll take part in a semi-marathon next month. I want to raise money for the people who saved me”.
