Adem Grabovci, along with the other eleven indictees of the Sterling Circle, today in front of the Court, rejected the indictment filed by the Special Prosecutor.

The accused through their lawyers rejected in all the evidence and indictment filed by the prosecution and demanded by the Court that in the absence of evidence the indictment be brought against them.

The defender of the accused, Adem Grabovci, attorney Florent Latifaj, when declared concerning the indictment, said that through a parachute handed over to the Court, he rejected evidence submitted by the prosecution and demanded a drop of the indictment, so during this trial he declared that he stands behind words spoken in the parliament.

“I generally stand by the written-submitted opposition and request for a drop in the indictment and rejection of evidence in the indictment”, attorney Florent Latifaj said.
Following a written rejection handed down by lawyer Florent Latifaj remained his client, accused Adem Grabovci.

Even accused Arbenita Pajazitaj, as well as defender of accused Ilhami Gashi, lawyer Gzim Kolcak stated that they also oppose evidence and the indictment filed by the prosecution, and that in view of these objections, the Court has handed over a parliament close to which they claimed they remained in total.

And lawyer Besnik Berisha, who in this trial defends accused Besim Beqaj, became curious to hear the prosecution's responses to the defendants ' objections.

“You said you have handed over our requests for dropping the indictment already we did not hear if the prosecution has provided answers to our objections”, attorney Berisha said.

Then I kindly request that the Prosecutor first hear about what we've stated to him that if these accept them, we have nothing to elaborate”, Berisha added.

But regarding the lawyer's statement, the prosecutor in the case, Drita Hajdari, had remarks, as according to the prosecutor is the Code of Criminal Procedure, which defines the rules as to how the procedure should go, so according to her, it is not the lawyer Berisha who should impose rules.

I'm sorry. I have a call on this lawyer's request. Based on the Criminal Procedure Code, defendants and their lawyers first present the objections and then the prosecution answers to those objections. Please remember that he can't establish the rules”, Special Prosecutor Drita Hajdari said.

While indictee Fatmir Shurdaj's defender, lawyer Emrush Kastrati, the indictment filed by the prosecution described it as media pressure, as saying this indictment had nothing to do with incriminating acts of his defense.

The “defence impression is that this indictment has increased under media pressure. My conviction is this and it has nothing to do with incriminating actions of my client”, attorney Emrush Kastrati said.

The defendant's defender, Ismet Neziraj, the lawyer, Gafurr Elshani, also ruled the indictment filed by the prosecution as a result of media pressure.

“The defense claims that the indictment is based on unacceptable evidence even this indictment has been filed as a result of media pressure, where the prosecutor himself claims that the indictment was filed after the analyses I have received following the opinion response after some recordings have been heard, you yourself wrote <ex1>, said attorney Gafurr Elshani.

Likewise, all other defendants through their defenders declared they opposed the indictment and stood by the controversy presented by the Court.

Regarding the controversy of the evidence and the demand for the indictment, prosecutor Hajdari used the legal right to respond with his mouth.

“This criminal case deals with a phenomenon of sharing positions on political grounds or on personal grounds. A lawyer heard here that the indictment was put under media pressure what is not true, it is true that the prosecution has initiated the investigation on the basis of what it heard in the media and that is a duty of the Prosecutor, and it is neither the first time nor the last time the prosecution began an investigation based on media information”, the prosecutor said.
But almost all the lawyers have been summoned to the extent that this surveillance was meant to be destroyed, but they were not destroyed, and there is no indication that this evidence was not meant to be used after they were not destroyed, the prosecution could not close its eyes to the presence of these incriminating actions”, the prosecutor said.

In terms of the prosecutor's statement, the defenders of the accused had several cases in the courtroom caused tension over what case judge Shashivar Hoti was forced to raise his voice and ask the parties to hold order and silence in the hall.

While in the face of defenders' objections and requests for impeachment of the indictment, the Court will decide outside the judiciary.

In this criminal case, eleven people with top official positions are charged: former US Vice President Ademi Grabovci, current minister Besim Beqaj, current deputy Zenun Pajaziti, two former secretary general, Ilham Gashi and Xhavit Dajaj, former Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Shurdaj, political adviser to MPB Sadat Gashi, former director of the public company's board “Randoniqi-Dukani <X1> in Gjakova Isaj, former director of the public company <2Hdrot> at Abzhsi>, former Prime Minister of the former Parliament and Minister for Defence Equikafia in Pajni, Apojazijani, former Minister for the former Parliament.

According to the indictment, defendants have misused their official positions by co-operating among themselves in granting privileges and priorities illegally to those who have competed in important positions, such as directors for central public enterprises, chief executive head of the Internal Affairs Agency, head of the Agency for Medical Products, and co-ordinator of the Civil Record Centre in the Cline, denying and restricting the freedoms and rights of other candidates, guaranteed by law. /Cashho. com
