Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala has opened the 10th meeting of the National Council for Economic Development, where many topics were discussed, in particular the support of businesses.
Minister Shala stressed that they will continue strengthening the Council, viewing it as a useful platform for dialogue.
“We will continue to strengthen this council as a useful platform of private dialogue, which will address key priorities and challenges to implement comprehensive reforms, which will affect improving environment and doing business in the Republic of Kosovo”, the minister said.
While Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj stressed that “dilemmas that saw a common co-ordination and without each of us's role will be difficult to ensure a genuine agenda of economic development”.
The topics from the Kosovo Economic Oda were also discussed at today's meeting, such as “Treating the Public Procuration Issue- Integration of Alternative Machines, the initiative of analysis on implementation of the Law on Consumer Protection”. At the same time, topics were discussed by the Kosovo Afarism Oda, such as “The requirement for abolishing Administrative Guide from the Ministry of Agriculture, which particularly affects the mining and mining sector, refunction of the Economic Court for Business Issues”. The American Chamber of Economics in Kosovo, such as “Treating the issue of waste from evaporation of products”, was also addressed. Also discussed in Z. RRE, KEDS ) as is “the question of ownership of trafostations and the way they are repaid, the creation of a special grant and subsidies fund for NVMs, as well as the creation of a scheme for providing soft and uninterested loans” and so on.
