In an exclusive interview for Periscope, Ukshini has said that during these decades Kosovo has achieved many successes, which he claims go beyond human imagination.
If somebody told us 20 years ago when Albanians were expelled from their soil, which we will today hold the 11th anniversary of Independence, we will speak in the name of the state of Kosovo, that is, beyond human imagination, and I think this is a masterpiece, it is an achievement that Kosovo Albanians, that is, to bow and work with honor, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to represent the state of Kosovo”, he said.
Ambassador Silas Ukshini's full speech through Periscopi:
And then, of course, usually every party when it's done has that particularity, but I think this party, it marks the beginning of the second decade, and so to speak, like that child when he grows up, goes into that stage of maturity. I think Kosovo is entering the maturity phase and entering the integration phase of the international system. Of course, there are many things that need to be done, but I think if we look back just 11 years, I think we have reason to be proud, that is, we're serving this country. I belong to that generation that's been through a lot, who's experienced as a student, who's experienced the collapse of autonomy, who've experienced the occupation, who've experienced the war, who've experienced international administration and independence, and when he's collected all of this in three decades, this is really one beyond imagination. Let me just say one thing: to tell us 20 years ago when Albanians were expelled from their soil, which we today will hold the 11th anniversary of Independence, we will speak in the name of the state of Kosovo, that is, beyond human imagination, and I think this is a masterpiece, is a masterpiece that Kosovo Albanians, that is, to bow down and work with honor, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to represent the state of Kosovo<1>, Ukshin said. /Periscopi/
