Kosovo has won at least one medal a year at the Grand Slam Judo in Paris in the past seven years, thanks to Majlinda Kelmendi with friends.
Kosovo was represented yesterday by three jungles in Paris' Grand Slam Nora Gjakova, Akil Gjakova and Distria Krasniqi with the latter winning the silver medal.
Nora suddenly lost in the second round, until Achilles managed to reach the final for the bronze medal where, however, he failed. But the District won the silver medal by reaching the final in its category.
The only one has won four gold and one silver medals at Paris Grand Slam during her career.
Achilles a gold, and Distria a silver and two bronzes.
