The deputy head of the new KEK Union, Nexhat Llumnica, at “Express Intervist” on KTV, has rejected the KEK workers' involvement in the law on wages, until he said the chairman of the Parliamentary Commission, Nat Hasani, either did not read the law well or cheated on the interpretation of this law.
Speaking of interpretation of the law, Llumnica has said that the union has sought clarification from the Ministry of Economic Development and Public Administration, but none of them have returned.
We have made our comment when the draft law was made on July 25, 2018, no one has taken it into account. In parliament, Nat Hasani says companies which finance over 50 percent. Projection in the bill writes about companies that have capital for 50 percent. Either he didn't read it well or he cheated on a different interpretation of the law”, Llumnica said.
We have requested interpretation from economic development and public administration. Neither has returned the written interpretation. We heard in the media when the administration minister said KEK was also in the law on salaries”, he added.
The KEK union has warned strike if workers do not leave the law for salaries.
“We have a necessity to act on union status, we will keep on strike. Obligation for electricity has KEDS that would have to buy energy. Every time KEK has not produced, Kosovo has remained in the dark. We don't want to, but anyone who thinks we don't have to do this, then let's come see”, he said apart. /Periscopi
