The INJECT Justice and Equality Initiative has made a response a few minutes ago to the unfair treatment of the minor case by the Drensa municipality, asking <x0Institutions for relevant care and professional work aimed at reducing the damage caused not only to the victim but also to other persons involved in this case, Periscope broadcasts.
INJECT has even criticised the prosecutor for stopping investigations into the educators, disregarding the fact that the girl from Drenas was a minor.
The initiative has proposed confiscating all the materials collected from the case, as well as preventing investigations by current persons.
The following is the full reaction of this NGO:
Reaction
Injekt Initiative for Justice and Equality reacts to the unfair treatment of the minor case from the Drenica municipality, requiring special care and professional work aimed at reducing damage caused not only to the victim, but also to other persons involved in the case.
Injekt calls for all institutions' monitoring mechanisms not to be allowed manipulation, misuse or hiding/hide of traces related to the above case.
We are alarmed with conflicting information and uncertainty about the case in question, as from the very beginning of the public's release information has been clear the violation of the tasks and responsibilities of institutions, starting with the prosecution, which has stopped investigating the case despite the fact that the victim has been of minor age and the withdrawal of the indictment in case of minor abuse cannot be taken as reason for stopping investigations.
The prosecution under official post (EX-OFFICIO) has not had to stop the investigation because violations of the official duty of the teacher and police have been clear from the start. That's why we call the institutions and the people who represent these institutions responsible to investigate this case without outside influence. Also, based on the latest results, we seek to establish an independent commission in which a super-expertosis will be engaged.
We propose that immediately, without delay, all materials collected from this case be confiscated, stopped investigations by current persons and taken over by another professional team.
