Haradinaj has called these statements threatening, which he says violate Kosovo's territorial integrity.
Haradinaj has pledged to take all constitutional actions in order to preserve Kosovo's territorial sovereignty.
Haradinaj's response
The recent threatening, aggressive and combative statements of the president of Serbia, Alexander Vuciq, delivered yesterday on February 7th 2019 in the town of Vranje, Serbia, that he does not recognise Kosovo's borders, internationally recognised and accepted borders in Jarinje and Brnjak, are unacceptable and pose serious violation of Kosovo's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
These statements are also an open attack on Kosovo's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as jeopardise peace, stability and security in Kosovo, the region and beyond.
As prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, I pledge that I will take all constitutional and legal actions aimed at preserving Kosovo's sovereignty and territorial integrity, in line with the February 17th 2008 Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq said yesterday he does not recognise the boundaries of an independent Kosovo as his predecessors and added that he differs from them for that.
When you tell them that we try to preserve something and everything that can be saved, above all, the leaders of our people and to preserve everything we can in Serbia, they say.
We want to have what we do not have and what we have given. We will not have borders on Jarinje and Brnjak between Serbs and Serbs, they say, no, no, you have to change borders,” said Vuciq in Vranje.
“Po, I do not know the limits of an independent state of Kosovo, as they did and we change in line with the circumstances. These are different policies, but our policy is not a policy of innocence and irresponsible”, he added, Kosovo Preress reports. /Periscopi
