Foreign investments will find an important partner in Kosovo, which is the Government of Kosovo, and which will be their powerful supporter. So said Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, after hosting representatives of Groeponics Kosova, Kosovo company with partners from Israel and England, of which it was announced for investing in the hydroponic greenhouses project for vegetable cultivation.
In this case it has become known that the sector in which Kosovo will invest is Kosovo's Agriculture and Industry sector in the Gjakova region, worth over 10m euros on over 5 hectares of land.
Prime Minister Haradinaj said the Strategic Investment Law is already showing the first results, bringing foreign direct investment to the country, which will directly affect economic development and the opening of new jobs.
After the first strategic investor to have declared the country's Government, we are now seeing more and more interest in investing in Kosovo. We have created adequate administrative climates and the country offers numerous natural and human resources, which we can return and commit to bringing back to economic parameters”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said, citing the fact that only this investment in agriculture will increase the number of employees by 130 and increase the export of our products to European countries.
On the other hand, representatives of this potential investor announced the phases that this investment will be realised, while also stressing that the sale will be realised on European markets, simultaneously developing and expanding co-operation with local and regional farmers.
Part of this meeting were Minister of Trade and Industry Andrew Shala and the Chairman of the Gjakova municipality, Adrian Djindani.
