Haradinaj has insisted in his stance that he will not remove the tax for the Serbian state until the precondition of mutual recognition is met.
This meeting with Hahn took place at the Munich Security Conference in Germany.
Furthermore, Haradinaj has also stressed the need for visa liberalisation for the country's citizens.

Kosovo is committed to being a bilateral partner of regional and good neighbourly co-operation, always when it is not denied the right to act as an independent and sovereign state.
That was what I told European Commissioner for Business Policy and Enlargement Negotia, Johannes Hahn, with whom I had the opportunity to discuss, along with Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli, within the Security Conference in Munich, Germany.
Our country enjoys free market, not only between Kosovo and Serbia, but throughout the Western Balkans. We enjoy the time when there will be no tariffs, but at the same time respect and mutual recognition, it is a prerequisite to achieve this.
I also stressed once again the need for visa liberalisation as a right to our citizens. I recalled that Kosovo has already met all conditions and unjustly remains isolated.
