Germany's ambassador to the UN Security Council today has asked Kosovo to remove the product tax of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina because it does not comply with European Union policies.
He has also talked about the Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's idea of creating a common free market in the Western Balkans that would mean Kosovo's products would also enter Serbia. But he has also said that Ivica Dacic should stop lobby against recognising Kosovo's irreversible independence. He has even expressed surprise at Serbia how he is doing actions that are contrary to what it requires EU membership.
“I don't understand your logic, I thought Serbia would join the EU”, he said by addressing Serbia's UN representative, the Periscopi broadcast.
