This indictment was made on behalf of the Sopa family, Teuta, Artina and Erna, who were arrested, held in custody and charged with killing Hamdi Sopa, their husband and father.
Gashi says they were kept in custody 144 days, while under psychic pressure more than three years, but have already ceased investigations against them.
“They were victims of the system, detained for allegedly killing their father, husband Hamdi Sopa-ish Official for Information at the Office of then Kosovo Prime Minister”, Gashi writes.

This was the case in 2013 with the Sopa family from Pristina, where, without any legal basis, Teuta Sopa, Sopa Art and Erna Sopa were arrested, held in custody for over 177 (a hundred seventy-seven) days, and kept under psychic pressure for more than 3 years, respectively, 1,411 days (a thousand and four hundred eleventh) until the end of the investigation.
They were victims of the system, detained for allegedly killing their father, husband Hamdi Sopa-ish Official for Information at the then Kosovo Prime Minister's Office, respectively.
Too sad, deliberate, and without any evidence.
Today, the indictment for compensation of damage against the Republic of Kosovo has been handed over, respectively, to the Judicial Council of the Republic of Kosovo, which will be forced to compensate the deliberate victims of the justice system in many of the more than 25,000,000 Euro (20m and fivem euros).
