It is good to have a partner who fills you with sincere compliments. But when it comes to sex, a compliment may distinguish between a very good sexual life or not.
According to a new study, whether women understand or know that their partner loves their body will be influenced or connected with a more fiery, and more pleasant, intimate act.
The study focused on 244 women between the ages of 18 and 30, asking them questions about the image of the body and sexual life. Each of the women was in a dedicated relationship for at least three months and had been sexually active within the past month.
Women were watched for their body recognition. They were asked to assess how much they are related to affirmation such statements as:” I feel good about my body” and “I respect my body” Then they had to finish the study from their partner's perspective, praising statements like my “Partner feels good about my body”.
Researchers later asked about women's sexual life, asking them how often they felt sexual desire, their level of waking up, their lubrication, the number of orgasms and sexual satisfaction.
They were also asked whether they had experienced pain during sexual relations. Women then appreciated their general satisfaction in relations, considering how positive and appreciated they felt.
General find? The more a woman thought her partner valued her body, the more satisfied she was with their sexual life and their relationship in general. Those who felt high levels of withdrawal from their partner had more excitement, lubrication, and orgasms - all signs that sexual life was healthy.
There has also been a link between the women's assessment of their bodies and the thought their partner has of their body. Women with a higher level of confidence about the body were also those who felt their partners were more attracted to them.
